REDWOODS RISING

Redwoods Rising is an ambitious initiative to restore more than 70,000 acres of forest damaged by historical logging in Redwood National and State Parks. These parks are home to almost half of the world’s remaining protected old-growth redwood forests, and store more carbon per acre than any other forests on Earth. Find out how you can help these giants rise up and reconnect.

RESTORE CULTURAL CONNECTIONS

The Yurok Tribe has lived among the north coast redwoods for millennia and have deep cultural ties to these forests. They're raising funds to build a state-of-the-art cultural center in Yurok ancestral territory. The center will serve as a venue for the Tribe to share information about their tribal history & culture for the first time. It will also provide a space to display actively used ceremonial regalia and several hundred cultural items, many of which are centuries old.

REIMAGINING BIG BASIN

While much of Big Basin Redwoods State Park (California’s oldest state park) continues to recover in the wake of devastating fires, crews are working to reestablish safe access to trails and nature experiences. Find out how you can support the recovery and reimagining of this extraordinary park.
